Mike Bolin is a third generation Builder from the Texas Gulf Coast with 35 years of construction experience. Mike grew up as the son of a Builder in Nederland Texas and began carrying boards and hammering nails for his father at an early age. "In college (University of Houston) I had a framing crew and subcontracted piece work from various Apartment Builders in Houston, Texas". After college Mike worked in the Engineering department of The Woodlands Development Corporation and installed roads and utilities in The Woodlands development north of Houston.
While working for Lincoln Property Company, Mike managed the construction of investment properties built for Lincoln in Houston. Lincoln owned and managed commercial properties including office buildings, warehouses, shopping centers and apartments.
Since 1984, Mike has designed and built projects for investors, institutions, tenants and owner/users; experienced in industrial, commercial and residential design and construction in Texas, California, Nevada, Tennessee, Washington D.C., New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Connecticut, Virginia and Florida.
John White is a second generation Land Developer / Home Builder from the Texas Gulf Coast with 30 years of construction experience. John grew up helping his mother and father building homes for Jim Walter Corporation and completing many land development projects throughout Texas.
While working with the family business, John graduated at Sam Houston State University in Finance and Accounting. After college he worked in the Mortgage Banking industry earning his Series 7 and 63, to understand more of the financial aspects of mortgage banking.
Moving on to KB Homes as Senior Manager of Construction, delivering over 3,000 lots and homes in 40 communities and awarded Land Development Employee of the year in 2004.
John was recruited by V.P. (prior manager of KB) to continue Land development and Home building at DR Horton - Woodlands. This included design and construction of recreational facilities, detention ponds, water and sewer plants. Responsibilities included managing projects with over 550 acres, 1700 home sites and $85,000,000 budget.
Presently owner/partner with Mike Bolin (White & Bolin Construction) designing and building custom homes and commercial buildings.
